Requirements for travel nurses can vary from state to state, as well as from facility to facility. Typically, these requirements will include a certain level of career experience, proper licensing and certifications, background checks and screenings, and other completed credentialing processes recommended by federal or state law and/or healthcare organization guidance. At TRS Healthcare, you’re qualified to work as a travel nurse if you meet the following basic requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of recent experience (facility/unit expectations may vary)
  • Registered nurse (RN) license or licensed practical nurse (LPN) license to work in the state
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
